These resources are intended to be used for teaching and learning activities for A level, comprising of:

  • Presentation- includes the materials of the entire lesson of differential equations (A level).
  • Problem card - four different A level past paper problems

Learning objectives:

  1. Students understand how to form differential equations from given problems.
  2. Students can solve ordinary differential equations and interpret the results.

The problem card can be used to check student understanding whereas students are given an opportunity to work on the problems independently or in groups. Their solutions are to be presented on a piece of paper.
If they have finished the work, the paper should be pasted on a wall (separate places) and each student should give feedback (“what went well” and “even better if”), can be using post-it notes.
After finished with all procedures, the the students (or group) can take their paper along with the feedback and reflect on it.
