Division with Remainders | Problem Solving | Museum Scenario | Four Operations

This activity allows students to apply their understanding of short division and long division - perfect for developing their understanding of division, remainders and number in context.

Students will be tasked with 8 problems to solve as a museum manager! The tasks will require students to use short division or long division and identify whether the remainder to certain questions should be rounded, ignored, turned into a fraction, or written as a decimal.

The scenarios involve real life situations of running a museum, such as the cost of pizza in a museum cafe, ordering fabric for museum uniforms, the cost of tickets, and more.

Note: there are 2 versions of the task, in Pound Sterling (£) and US Dollars ($), to use as you prefer.
