A simple and meaningful activity for Diwali! Children cut out a diya shape and glue the top part together to create a little card. When they open the diya, they’ll find their writing inside, beginning with:
“This Diwali I can spread light by…”
Encourage answers such as:
Being a good friend
Being kind
Sharing my toys
Children can then decorate their diyas using colouring pens, glitter, sequins, or any other materials you’d like them to use.
