AQA A level Biology Topic 1. DNA replication. Meselson and Stahl (3.1.5.2)
This resource has been made for AQA A level biology but is suitable for all exam boards.

The lesson includes a powerpoint presentation covering the learning objectives below. as well as checkpoint questions, additional exam questions to test knowledge. Questions are included as a Word document and all the answers are included on the powerpoint as well.

• Describe the formation of a new polynucleotide strand.
• Explain the semi-conservative process of DNA replication.
• Describe how the work of Meselson and Stahl provided evidence for semi conservative replication.
