A single lesson exploring the themes in DNA.

Structure:

Learning objectives and Think, Pair, Share discussion task about understanding of themes
“Pressure Line” task - students to respond to the statement linking to themes in DNA by moving to the left or right of the classroom depending on their response
Create tableaux based on the themes in DNA
Students to create a short piece of drama based on the themes in DNA linking to today’s society
Students to create another short piece of drama showing off-text improvisation using the characters and themes in DNA
