Drama Assessment Criteria for Key Stage Three

This resource is intended for use in Key Stage Three, and lower-level GCSE Drama classes. This assessment criteria comprehensively breaks down the various elements of the GCSE Drama Assessment criteria, introducing students to assessment vocabulary based on the three areas of Assessment in Dance: Making; Performing; Responding.

The criteria is split into 6 Grades, which is based on an ‘elements of’ system of grading. For example, if a student hit all of the criteria in Grade 1, they would be working at ‘elements of’ a GCSE Grade 1, which gives a seamless transition into GCSE grading.
