Drama Skill Building / Intro to Drama

This 5-7 lesson scheme of work guides pupils through an Introduction to Drama skills, including:

1. Developing trust in group work
2. The use of the body in group work
3. Physical & Vocal skills

Lessons are designed to fluid, and can be moved through at the teachers’ own pace. Introducing skills such as Improvisation, Facial Expressions, Body Language, Vocal Tone, Volume and more through a variety of games and activities. Each lesson can be adpapted and utilised in existing schemes of work, for example as warm up tasks, or as an introduction to devising work.

• A simple PowerPoint detailing starter tasks and key points in the lesson
