This is a standalone cover or classroom lesson aimed at Year 8 or Year 9 students. Students will look at the way that duologue scenes are structured. They will learn about subtext, character development and the structure and shape of an effective duologue. There is a full set of slides and an accompanying worksheet, which can be completed digitally or you can print it out for completion on paper. There is some paired class discussion, individual tasks and feedback. All the instructions are on the slides, including suggested timings. A great resource to accompany a practical SoL on duologues or scriptwriting or as an emergency cover resource.
