An AQA GCSE Psychology lesson centred on Dweck’s idea of fixed and growth mindsets.

Students will be presented with real-life examples of the fixed and growth mindsets alongside the psychological definitions of both.

Students will also look at how the theory can be interpreted whether it be how people approach challenges or how some people may fall somewhere between fixed and growth upon a mindset ‘scale’,

Exam style questions are presented throughout the lesson.

This lesson can be given as independent work and does not have to be teacher led.
