Learn about ECUADOR with 2 printable handouts (plus answer key). Your students will read a brief overview of Ecuador, write 'Quito' next to the star on the map to show the capital, draw a line across Ecuador (above Quito and through the Galápagos Islands) to show the equator, color a small flag and map, then use the map and compass to answer 7 questions. Colored pencils or crayons and a pen or pencil are needed for this activity. No other prep needed.
For use with Interactive Notebooks: After the handouts are completed and the map and flag are colored and questions are answered, cut out the map and flag of Ecuador and compass, and paste into the notebook under the topic of South America / Subtopic: Ecuador. Under the map and flag, your students will write a summary in their own words of what they now know about Ecuador.
Handouts are available for each country of South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela, and dependent territory French Guiana.
