Robert Frost Out Out Edexcel IGCSE English Language Paper 2 one hour lesson for Poetry and Prose Texts.

We explore the key language and structure features in Frost’s early 20th century American poem, explaining how he conveys his ideas and perspectives about the boy and the buzz saw accident, and how his use of language and structure impacts on the reader’s thoughts and feelings. Together we make detailed analytical notes on how Frost creates effects and is able to affect the reader.

Additionally, we explore some of the key context around the poem which is useful for helping a student’s understanding of the poem’s themes, ideas and perspectives.

This lesson forms part of a teacher resource pack that covers all ten prose and poetry extracts.
