Edexcel IGCSE Wilfred Owen Disabled

Wilfred Owen Disabled Edexcel IGCSE English Language Paper 2 one hour lesson for Poetry and Prose Texts.

We explore the key language and structure features in Owen’s First World War poem, explaining how he is able to evoke sympathy from the reader, and together we make detailed analytical notes on how Owen creates effects and is able to affect the reader.

Additionally, we explore some of the key context around the poem which is useful for helping a student’s understanding of the poem’s themes, ideas and perspectives.
