Simple, yet very effective, to use with primary school children. The behaviour chart is fully editable, as is the target strip that can be laminated and stuck to the pupil’s table or workstation.
This is a perfect tool to use with children who find it difficult to understand classroom expectations and the visual really helps. Between my TA and I, we use the table strips to point to where a child isn’t meeting expectations, this ensures limited disruption to the flow of the lessons.
Stickers are placed in the boxes where they have achieved targets - these are personalised learning targets that are included in pupil’s IEPs, in addition to lifelong skills. Copies of the chart go home Friday weekly for the parent to discuss with their child and also as a basis for pupil review meetings, if appropriate.
Hope this helps!
