This is a lesson plan to introduce in class how we express likes and dislikes about free time activities and music preferences.
This is a power point presentation that includes 9 different activities focused on oral expression and interaction.

Activity 1. Introduction. Students react to some images that they like or dislike. They express orally with the rest of the class.
Activity2. Students read an email y complete some information about someone’s like/dislike.
Activity 3. Students express themselves in writing what they like and ask their classmates (orally) about what they like doing on their free time to find things in common.
Activity 4. Students complete (writing) some sentences about things they have found in common with their classmate and then, they can comment (orally) with the teacher and the rest of the class.
Activity 5. The grammar content is explained after students try to complete the information that is missing. They have used the verb and they are able to deduct the grammar content.
Activity 6. They express (writing) what music they prefer using the verb “I like” with intensifiers (mucho, poco, nada, etc) and the verb “encantar”.
Activity 7. They express (orally) their music preferences with their classmates. They ask each other’s and complete (writing) sentences about the same music preferences with their classmates. Students comment the results with the teacher and the rest of the group.
Activity 8. Students listen to a song (Manu Chao: Me gustas tu) and identify two errors (things he likes/dislikes) and they express (orally) if they like the song or not.
Activity 9. Homework. Students need to reply to the email they read on activity 2. They can use all the content learnt in class to express in writing their favourite free time activities and music preferences.

Teacher will found extra information about the lesson plan (objectives of every activity, content, time, etc.) at the end of the power point presentation. Plus the key to the activities.
