This is a sorting exercise and supporting powerpoint for KS4 students studying Queen ELizabeth I and the characters within her reign. I use it ether as pre-teaching or as revision. Students arrange events pre-1570, 1570-86, 1587 onwards. They are invited to explain the significance of each person to Elizabeth’s reign or cult of personality, as to whether they were an asset or a challenge.
