English Functional Skills Entry Level 2 Speaking and Listening

This resource has been designed for students working towards Entry Level 2 Functional Skills English certification (Edexcel-Pearson, NCFE, City and Guilds, NOCN and Open Awards). It contains an age-appropriate, 33-page workbook and a 90-slide PowerPoint lesson on the Entry Level 2 Functional Skills English speaking and listening component. The resource will help pupils to achieve these outcomes:

identify the main information and details from short explanations
make requests and ask clear questions appropriately in different contexts
respond appropriately to questions
follow the gist of discussions
clearly express information and communicate feelings and opinions on a range of topics
make appropriate contributions to group discussions

Workbook
