Adjectives Workbook

The workbook includes two information pages, 26 worksheets ana progress check on adjectives. Tasks include:

choosing appropriate adjectives to describe a variety of nouns
identifying adjectives in sentences
inserting appropriate adjectives into sentences
composing sentences containing adjectives
composing short paragraphs containing adjectives - letter of complaint regarding ‘cold’ takeaway and soggy fries, postcard to friend describing holiday, describing best friend, poster for missing dog, advert to sell scooter

Adjectives PowerPoint Lesson

This editable, 80-slide PowerPoint lesson explains what adjectives are, why they are used and how to use them in writing. There are many opportunities within the PowerPoint for pupils to identify and use adjectives. The PowerPoint also contains two hyperlinks to short videos on adjectives.
