Estimate, Measure and Calculate fun intervals of time - ready made lesson with worksheet and extra for experts slip

WALT: estimate, measure and calculate intervals of time.
Provides a fun-looking worksheet (and more - see below) for the students to estimate the number of times they can do something in 1 minutes (or 30 seconds). It then asks them to do the activity and measure how many times they can actually do it.

There are a few extension questions such as I should be able to say the alphabet ____________ times in 8 minutes having done it for 1 minute already.

Some of the questions ask them to estimate and measure how long it takes them to do the activity once, rather than how many times in 1 minutes. This is to mix it up a bit, to practice timing the length on an activity, rather than just 1 minute, and because for one of the activities, once is enough!

Fancy dress is for one of the quesitons - any bits of fancy dress you've got lying around will do!

Also includes some pages of ready made paper resources for printing for support for some of the tasks themselves. (eg cutting out circles)

Also includes an "Extra for Experts" task slip. For them to stick in their books and continue working / calculating to the end of the lesson!
