Evaluating Functions (Differentiated Questions)
A set of differentiated questions on evaluating functions.

There are three levels of difficulty:

  • substituting a value into a function (mild)

  • substituting an expression into a function (spicy)

  • substituting a binomial expression into a quadratic function (extra hot)

The resource includes a 'check-in' question. This can be attempted on mini-whiteboards to give you and the students an idea of how well they understand the topic. The feedback from the question will help students to choose which set of questions to answer, and will tell you who needs extra support.

Full solutions are included, making it easy for you or your students to mark.
