One of the simplest and most effective of my resources…

  1. Present an exam question for the pupils to attempt for homework
  2. Pupils copy the question into the top left Q box
  3. Pupils attempt a response in the left column for homework
  4. Response is marked either by teacher, self or peer and feedback given as STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES in the central column
  5. Pupils use this feedback to MAKE IT BETTER in the right-hand column, either in class or for a second homework

SIMPLE…EFFECTIVE…TIME SAVING

This method both improves pupil exam responses in an efficient manner and keeps SLT and Ofsted happy as they can clearly see the impact that marking is having on pupil progress and attainment.
