A complete set of classroom posters designed to give students a clear, consistent approach to every Eduqas GCSE Media Studies extended-response question.
I’ve tried to make these resources use similar simple frameworks that match the assessment objectives of each question type.
They generally follow:
WHAT → HOW → SO WHAT for Media Language and Representation
WHAT → HOW → WHY for Industries and Audiences
WHAT CONTEXT? → WHERE IS IT? → WHY DOES IT MATTER? for Context questions
I’ve added adjusted posters to reflect:
- the slightly different requirements for Paper 1 and Paper 2 where needed (such as for comparisons)
- a poster that prompts evaluative language for the “How far” questions in Paper 2
- specific theories for audiences (Uses and Gratification & Reception).
Ideal for classroom displays, revision guides, intervention sessions, essay-writing support and independent study. I’m hoping the posters will also work well as a progression tool, giving students a consistent approach they can apply across the whole course.
