This resource, based on the traditional snakes and ladders game, is designed to help young people understand and develop their executive functioning skills.

It allows the young person to play the game while considering a range of questions based around executive functioning.

This has worked very successfully with my students with ADHD, as well as those who need more support with: planning, organising, regulating, task initiation, and so on.

Contains

  • one A3 board
  • one easy print A4 board
  • one alternative board (without the physical activity option)
  • 40 question cards
  • two DIY dice templates
  • coloured counters

The game is probably best played with an adult, or as a small group (with an adult)

There are 10 second active tasks for those young people that need brain breaks or need to re-energise.

Great idea but the board is missing a row because it ends at the opposite side at the top! Please could you fix this? Thanks
