Year 7 RE Lesson: The Exile – Why Did God Abandon the Israelites?

This lesson explores the Babylonian exile and why the Israelites were taken from their land. Pupils learn about the destruction of Jerusalem, the loss of the temple, and the feelings of despair, blame, and reflection that followed.
