Sorry, its been in the making for so long. Have just finished all the jolly phonics sets 1-7 with BSL sign language.
These cards give opportunities for children to become aware of languages and writing systems other than English, and communication systems such as signing.
These Superhero books have been designed for boys (made one for girls- fairy tales). The purposes of these books are to raise boys' interest in reading. Therefore I have used images which they are familiar with and enjoy looking at and talking about.
I have kept the wording simple and used very repetitive phrases.
In preparation for the new term in September, i have made 30 coat peg labels, 15 little miss and 15 Mr. men. The names of the characters are written on the labels and there is also room to write or type Child's name.
PLEASE NOTE: A new updated 2016 version of this resource is now available. Spreadsheets have been updated as have all objectives. New overview sheet allows you to see pupils' achievements in individual strands. Tracking sheets have been improved to make tracking more efficient. End of term/year reports have been added. Check out my shop - by clicking on my username - to find this new must have resource.
Assessment spreadsheets and tracking resources I've created using a 7-point system. Enter numbers 1-7 (which is explained in the introduction) into spreadsheet for learning objectives which will then calculate averages and a progress 'level' for the accompanying tracking sheets. The newly added overview sheet is a great addition which gives you an instant understanding of the current level of your children in maths, reading, writing and science. Who needs classroom monitor and the ongoing cost? This system, plus my foundation subjects tracking system (see link below), will be all your school needs for tracking progress in this 'interesting' era of assessment without levels. Please, leave feedback for this amazing resource!
NOW ADDED: Foundation Subject Assessment and Tracking without Levels:
ALSO ADDED: Year 1, Year 2 , Year 3 , Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Math Assessments and Tracking Without Levels OR why not buy the KS1 Bundle, the KS2 Bundle or the complete Primary Bundle at a discounted price? Has that pile of books been sitting on your desk for over a week? Why not print out some stickers and get sticking! I use a range of stickers to encourage student feedback. It's an excellent way to save some time but also encourage a dialogue. Credit to A. Wilkes for inspiration. You will require various label size papers but there are some standard envelope ones. Sticker sizes include: standard address label, 25x25, 64x64 and others. Comments are appreciated. This paper can be purchased online and put into any printer. Comments are appreciated. Images are taken from Microsoft Office Clip-Art collections and used in line with MS policy.
