Before qualifying as a teacher I worked as a TA for 7 years and then as a High Level Teaching Assistant for 3 years. I am working in an inner city school. My specialist area is ‘Early Years-Foundation Stage’. I am currently working in Foundation 2 as a Reception teacher and also have had experience of working in Foundation 1 – Nursery class. I believe that early years should be fun and exciting place for children to learn and therefore I am always striving to improve my teaching practice, through adapting materials already available and making the best of what I have.
