EYFS Developmental Matters Statement document. Easy one area per page. EY/Nursery/Reception

I have created an easy document for monitoring the EYFS using the Developmental Matter statements from 16-26months. They are on an easy one page per area of learning. In my assessment folder each child has a copy each (which is only 4 A4 sheets as can be easily photocopied back to back) I highlight the statements as and when they are achieved. A different colour for each term (or half term if assessing more regular) i.e. yellow for Autumn etc) They are separated and numbered so if you need to evidence your observations you just put for example (MH3) for Moving and Handling statement 3. When Ofsted came they loved this as could easily see progress. You could also complete these in a word document for each child. As they are quite compact I have also laminated them and displayed them in my classroom and outside area so that all adults can refer to them. Hope you find them useful.
