Nice worksheet on factors, multiples and prime factor decomposition with LCM and HCF included up to GCSE Grade C. Can be used as a recap for revision on these topics. Nice compact questions ideal for a CD borderline group. Thanks for sharing.
I've used this Factors,Multiple,Primes,Powers,Roots mini murder mystery with KS4 as revision of number types. Also usable with KS3 as consolidation of key words and number practice. I insisted on no calculator and awarded a small prize for the fully complete solution to the 'murder'
Powerpoint introducing prime factor trees, I used it originally with low ability KS4 but could easily be used with KS3 classes.\n\nNext lesson covers multiples and using prime factors, again with more able classes they could be combined in the same lesson
Guidelines and activities to present a unit on bridges in years 3-6.
In years 3 and 4 the work includes designing and building a bridge to cross a river.
Progression is assured in years 5 and 6 by asking the pupils to design a bridge that can open and close and/or can be lit up.
