
Fifth lesson in a series of engaging lessons looking at the positive role that a persons faith can play in their life and in the world. The unit of work covers faith and; life, history, football, wrestling, the media and miracles.
Students consider how faith is portrayed in the media in subtle and unsubtle ways. They look at the examples of messianic figures such as Gandalf, Harry Potter and Aslan. They listen to a speech by Chris Pratt using the media to share his faith. Students then learn about how God is sometimes portrayed in the media and how social media can be used with regards to faith.
