These are Summer phonics worksheets relating to final consonant blends or clusters. They are ideal for reviewing work on final blends and for reading simple sentences with common final blends. There are multiple-choice worksheets whereby students select the correct blend to complete each word. There is a fun activity for students to crack various codes (cryptograms) using summer-themed pictures to represent letters to fill in gaps in sentences and match words to pictures.

Worksheets A to G with Answer Sheet and b/w versions
A multiple-choice activity: Students will see three sets of final consonant blends on ice cream cones. They should look at the picture and then write the correct missing blends to complete each word.

Read and Crack the Code Worksheets 1 to 3
Read Sentences and Crack the Codes. In this activity, students will see a summer-themed key – each picture represents a letter of the alphabet. They should read the sentences and fill in the gaps by cracking the code.

Worksheets A to D: Crack the Code and Picture Match
In this activity students work out the word using the summer-themed picture code and then draw a line from the word to the correct picture. (Answer Sheets)
