With this activity, students will practice converting linear equations from standard form to slope-intercept form to find the slope and y-intercept. After they identify the slope and y-intercept, they will color the part of the picture with their answer according to the color indicated. Even unmotivated students enjoy coloring, so give them a chance to have fun while practicing their important algebra skills! When the students are done, the finished pieces make beautiful classroom decor and allow you to showcase your students' coloring, and algebra, skills!
