Fish Tank (arnold, 2009) A Level Resource Bundle

This bundle includes a variety of useful resources for teaching A-Level Film Studies, Component 1C. British Film. Some of them are transferrable to other British films on the specification so can be used in tandem with another film option.

• a timed test with 3 questions on genre, social class and ‘female gaze’.
• 2 ideological critical approach tests (identical questions, but different images used on the paper) that cover the films Fish Tank and Trainspotting. This could be adapted for other British films.

• A Marxism worksheet that helps students organise their notes from the film using Marxist terminology.
