Fishing for CVC Words
This resource contains a fun CVC game where students have to use a fishing rod to catch the matching CVC words on the fish.

You will need to purchase/have a fishing rod to play this game.

It is your personal preference how you use the rod with the fish, you can stick a paperclip to the back of the fish to use with a magnetic fishing rod or you can use a paper clip that sticks out past the fish mouth and bend up to be used with a grabber fish rod - as shown in the images.

The fish each have a CVC word on them. At the bottom of the PDF file are flashcards with the images of CVC words on them. Students have to catch the fish that matches the CVC image on the flashcard that they have.

It comes in b/w or col option for your preference.

This is a fun activity that will keep your students engaged and focused while learning their CVC words.

It contains a total of 4 different 'fish' images for each vowel - a,e,i,o,u. Simply cut out the fish and flashcards, laminate so that they will be stronger and longer lasting and you have a great game ready to pull out whenever needed!
