Designed to be delivered to KS4 groups. This continues from discussing parallel forces and explains to students how to calculate what forces occur when an object is on a slope.

Using the example of a trolley on a hill the students are lead step by step through the different forces and how to draw a triangle of forces. From this they are given worked examples and then a differentiated task to determine confidence levels.

Ends with a dicussion about forces acting in different directions.
