The Foundations for Future Core Curriculum Bundle brings together six comprehensive resources to provide educators with the structure, planning tools, assessment systems and learner documentation needed to create and deliver a genuinely personalised programme for young people with SEND. Foundations for Future has been designed around one central principle: The curriculum should fit the learner — not require the learner to fit the curriculum. Rather than providing a rigid sequence of identical lessons, the programme enables educators to build learning around each young person's aspirations, strengths, interests, EHCP outcomes, communication needs, functional skills and intended adult destination. It is particularly suited to learners who benefit from a highly personalised approach and whose progress may not always be captured effectively through traditional classroom assessment. Provides the curriculum intent, structure and principles underpinning Foundations for Future, bringing together functional English and maths, employability, independent living, personal and social development, community participation and Preparation for Adulthood. 2. Foundations for Future Teaching Toolkit – £25 value The practical guide to delivering the curriculum. Supports tutors to translate curriculum intentions into meaningful learning experiences while adapting teaching for different abilities, communication needs, aspirations and levels of independence. 3. Learner Passport & Personalised Learning Journey – £8 value A learner-centred record that places the young person's voice at the heart of their programme. Includes learner profiles, communication preferences, aspirations, starting points, EHCP outcome mapping, personalised goals, skills passports, learning journey records, reviews and transition planning. 4. Assessment, Evidence & Progress Tracking Toolkit – £10 value A practical system for demonstrating meaningful SEND progress. Includes baseline assessment, small-step targets, observation records, evidence logs, prompt-reduction tracking, generalisation tracking, learner self-assessment, curriculum-strand progress tracking and termly/end-of-year reviews. The toolkit recognises that progress can mean more than completing a task.
