The two power point presentations cover step by step demonstrations of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions in clear, colourful and engaging slides. There are opportunities for children to practice skills through mini activities, practice using mathematical vocabulary and discuss reasoning through talk partner activities and review and evaluate their learning through plenary activities.
There are also slides which review and revise simplifying fractions and converting mixed numbers and improper fractions.
The accompanying worksheets are differentiated at 3 levels: Easier (with completed examples for support), Age Related and Harder (for the genius in the class!)
