This fractions dominoes resource is a great game to encourage children to differentiate and compare between unit, non-unit and equivalent fractions using numbers, models, pictures and words, all by way of a fun game that can be played in groups. Children will have the opportunity for plenty of discussion, identifying if a shape has been split into equal parts and if each part represents a fraction of an amount, as well as comparing a written fraction and identifying what the digits represent.
