Life in Modern Britain Lesson 7. This lesson looks at how the press are handled in countries such as China, Russia and North Korea. The lesson focuses on the World Press Freedom Index and considers the impact of the Charlie Hebdo event in France and if this should impact on religious freedom. Progress/Progress+ tasks are given throughout to provide differentiation and challenge. Issues of censorship, regulation and free press are considered.
