Fundamental Ear Training #2

Rhythmic Dictation questions using Crotchets, Quavers and the Quaver Rest.

*** Updated with four levels of differentiated question sheets for pupils***

In the second part of this progressive series, you will find a set of ten exam style questions where pupils have to dictate the rhythm of what they can hear being played. In this part 2 of Fundamental Ear Training, every question is based on the note of middle C on the treble clef.

Each question will start with one bar of crotchet clicks that sets the tempo for each question. The task for your pupils is to add stems, beams and flags where necessary to the provided note heads so each of the answers is a completed one bar of rhythm that reflects what they are listening to; your pupils will hear each question twice.
