GCSE Art coursework booklet

This is a useful step by step guide through a Cultures piece of cousework. It looks at British, African and Indian culture.

The booklet suggests drawings and artists to study and complete. It suggests a a range of media and processes from oil pastels, watercolour and ink to batik and printmaking.

There is a visual guide to successful sketchbook pages and a section on how to achieve GCSE Art success.

I use this with a class that has a wide variety of abilities and it enables independent working for those that can, while providing structure for the less able students.
