Designed for AQA GCSE English Language [8700] but applicable to most other boards, this resource comes in three parts:

  1. Introductory module. Classroom slides to present each of the 24 creative writing techniques needed for Paper 1 Question 5, along with examples of their use in literature. The hide/show feature engages curiosity and stimulates discussion.
  2. Student revision app. Use in class or for homework. Students practise the technique you have set and get realtime feedback from their own preferred AI. They are encouraged to repeat and refine their writing until they have mastered the technique.
  3. Assessment module. Guided assessments for each technique, with options pitched at different ability levels.
