GCSE French - Q&A / Translation Card Set (Module 5: Holidays)

Based on MODULE 5 - Edexcel & AQA vocabulary
designed by a native speaker

Edit 10/10/2019: Bundle available!

With 20 cards (10 texts translated into English on a wide range of topics), get your student to practise their translation, writing and speaking skills. This set is primarily for those students who would aim for a 7/8/9 as it includes a wide range of opinions/reasons/tenses/complex structures/idioms (in dark red) as well as a touch of originality to stand out from the crowd (see sample)! The topics included consist of the following:

  • where I go on holidays
  • where I stay
  • what I do
  • a past holiday
  • future plans for holidays
  • ideal holidays
  • restaurant (past event)
  • favourite means of transport (past/present)
  • shopping on holidays
  • a problem on holidays (past)

These cards can be used in a variety of ways… Your imagination is the limit! I would use this as revision cards, translation practice, ‘speed-dating’ translation, writing or speaking practice and various activities.

You have access to both the double-sided (French on one side, English on the other) and the card back version to make it easy for you: just print/send to reprographics what you want, and it’s literally cut&go!
The colour will change depending on the module (Module 5 = purple)

I really hope you will find it useful; if you have any suggestions, please do let me know as I can update the content at any given time. Your reviews/advice/ideas would be very much appreciated as I always thrive to make my creations better! (Thank you so much for the feedback so far :))

Let me know if you want to see a more ‘foundation’ version of these sets!!!

Merci beaucoup de votre visite ; any questions, just ask!
