GCSE Geography Fieldwork Mark Scheme
Includes both a PDF version and editable Word Document version.

A mark scheme for the write-up of GCSE (KS4) fieldwork. A total of 48 marks to be gained, with a clear outline of what pupils should include in their fieldwork write-up from the aim of their study, how they should be presenting and statistically analysing their data to what to include when evaluating the success of both their physical and human geography fieldwork.

I use this with my Year 10/11 pupils who are studying AQA GCSE Geography. Although their fieldwork knowledge is tested in the Paper 3 exam, I find pupils understand the process of fieldwork best when having thought through the process written it up themselves. These handy mark schemes are great for outlining exactly what each pupil should include in their human geography and physical geography coursework-style write-up. I have ensured that all key points are covered, based on the examination questions I have seen so far.

Adaptable versions are included in this download enabling you to alter to suit your school’s fieldwork or to edit so it can be used with other year groups.
