I have created a PowerPoint, homework and added another worksheet for pupils books covering the new AQA (9-1) syllabus on the different lever class systems in the body. The PowerPoint contains a lot of information for pupils to take in as well as a lot of questions that pupils can have a go at before the correct answer is given. The plenary questions at the end of the PowerPoint are simple closed questions, however teachers can expand on these to where they see fit in the class.
The starter worksheet works well with the clip on the presentation, allowing pupils to recap previous learning on the movements the body makes. The little activity sheet is to be used as a 'what have we learned today' exercise at the end as a plenary. It will help to get the pupils to explain the definitions of the keywords used throughout the lesson. It also contains a couple of questions to make the pupils think where the lever systems would be used in sport.
The homework sheet is only a few questions on the pupils knowledge of how to draw the correct linear diagrams of the levers, which would be required and no doubt come up in the paper 1 exam.

I used everything here within an observation and I was commented on how well planned my PowerPoint presentation was and the effort with all the moving clips. The lesson plan is what I used to hand to my observer, which gives an outline of how I taught the lesson.
