A fully resourced GCSE RE lesson exploring the resurrection of Jesus and its importance within Christianity.

Students investigate the resurrection accounts found in the four Gospels, analysing key similarities and differences between Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The lesson includes a structured comparison activity and opportunities for students to evaluate the reliability and significance of the different Gospel accounts.

Students then explore why the resurrection is such an important belief for Christians, including beliefs about Jesus’ divinity, eternal life, hope, salvation and the victory of good over evil.
