Genesis - Creation Story

A fantastic, engaging and creative year 7 lesson focusing on the genesis (Christian) creation story. This resource can be used exactly how it has been laid out but can also be easily adapted for your classroom needs and essentially everything you need has been provided here.

This lesson beings with a starter activity around how this world was created with a strong emphasis on independent thinking and learning, before divulging into the genesis creation story, followed by a group activity and a main activity that has been differentiated to meet different learning needs and a plenary to ensure pupils have made sufficient progress. This is a lesson that is not only creative but is also designed to promote independent learning, meet different learning needs, along with differentiated learning objectives and outcomes to ensure progress for all pupils. Finally, there are also a wide range of AFL activities to ensure gradual progress throughout the lesson.
