This dyslexia-friendly lesson is aimed firmly at lower ability 11-14 year old learners, and keeps the science very simple. It is a follow-up to my selective breeding lesson, and is designed to give a highly visual overview of how genes are transferred between organisms. Animations give a clear and simple description of the (simplified) process. Technical language is kept to a minimum. There is an opportunity for learners to use devices to research GMOs of their choice.
