APPROX A FULL TERM OF LESSONS

Exploring how and why the earth is the source of so many resources, many of which we are wearing in our classroom. The consequences of our retail decision making, now and in the past.

A look at international trade and the modern slave trade. The environmental impact of where the components of our everyday items, come from.

Encourages team work, a large number of applicable skills - allows for all types of learner types to access and excel in their reaction to this ongoing, extended piece of assessed work looking at specific global issues and their potential sustainable ways forward.

Encourage learners to make use of Google Earth, YouTube, Newspaper articles.

Map skills:
Map interpretation, latitude and longitude, map skills/past paper questions used in GCSE examinations, research skills.
