Geographic Fact or Geographic fiction?

This activity is designed for used as a starter or plenary in a Geography lesson. Presentation can also be used (via prepared print off slides) to provide meaningful tasks for cover lessons, homework tasks or library research activities.
Presentation contains 10 challenges, each challenge has 8 questions. For each challenge students are given 8 statements relating to countries of the world and are asked to identify the “facts” and the “fictions”. If presentation is used as an interactive starter/plenary option exists to skip answers to allow a pen and paper exercise to allow element of competition between students. The whole presentation contains 183 slides with hyperlinks embedded throughout.
