Geographical Jumble Challenge

Activity designed for use as a starter or plenary activity in Geography or Humanities lesson. Students are presented with a Geographical category such as European Countries, American States etc and are given 3 of that category with the letters jumbled up. The challenge is to decode the 3 items before the embedded 45 second timer expires. There are 16 tasks in total and they have been differentiated by difficulty, level of difficulty is shown on the menu/teachers notes slide. There is also a paper task available at the end of the slide show to facilitate homework or as a purposeful activity in a cover lesson.
