This mini project (5-6 lessons) was used for GCSE year 9 before beginning their componenent 1 project ‘Close-Up’. The project explores the work of Georgia O’Keeffe and using acrylic paints to create a transcription. Students then take photographs of flowers close up and draw this with colouring pencil.
